The University of Chicago Institute for the Study of Ancient Cultures West Asia & North Africa is pleased to introduce its inaugural interactive mobile app.

This custom application enables you to select personalized tours, make use of an interactive map, and more, all while experiencing the museum at your own pace. As you traverse the museum, simply keep your smartphone nearby to sense vibrations that will notify you of relevant artifacts and areas tailored to your interests.

• Personalized Tour Content: Tailor your experience by selecting specific areas of interest. Whether you wish to delve into the collection's highlights or engage in an audio tour, choose your preferred focus and let the app provide detailed insights.
• Interactive Map: Navigate with ease using the interactive map to access practical information such as restroom locations and exits with a simple tap of "Where is the…?". The location-aware map displays your current position along with directions to desired destinations. Identify artifacts of interest and save them to your 'Likes' page for future exploration.
• App Exclusive Audio Tour: Immerse yourself in an exclusive audio tour featuring our docents discussing their favorite pieces within the collection. This curated tour is exclusively accessible via the mobile application.
